Brilliant. Can't fault a single player on our team - the desire from all the players was beautiful to see. Fully deserved win and but for a bit of dodgy finishing and some great Cech saves, we could have had one or two more and it probably wouldn't have looked too out of place. Wanyama and Jan were particularly excellent I thought. And though Trippier had one or two poor deliveries he definitely justified Poch's decision to start him. COYS!!
As a way to celebrate St Arseholes day, I think we should all get the hashtag #WengerIn trending on Twitter. Come on lads, make it happen!
Verts MOTM - no issues with that but there were some great performances today. Sonny was excellent and Davies had his best ever game for us. Well done all
I've started a "St Arsehole's Day Has Arrived" thread on the Prem board, as I know that there are a lot of my friends over there who will want to celebrate with us. Some of them are banned from this board, so they'll want a place to party with us. I'm to get Pixie along, later. He's going to be the comedy act.
Excellent superb., The lads really outclassed them very easily. We were miles ahead of them today. Very well played all the lads. Can't single anyone out for special praise. I going for some Rums.
Henry has been complimentary about us for most of this season. That must piss off a certain type of Gooner. Mentioning no names...
I thought that Cech was MOTM, to be honest. He made a bunch of really good saves. Would've been a complete battering if he hadn't put in a superb performance.
True, but I really don't believe that possession stat. Detracts from our domination that was real and far more obvious than that stat would suggest.
The desire, hunger and energy is noticeable. It's the biggest reason why Spurs are a level above the four or five teams below you in the table. That's got to be down to management.
Spurs fans have stayed behind inside White Hart Lane in numbers to celebrate that derby win and the fact they will now finish about Arsenal - and why not? This was another very impressive performance that demonstrated that Mauricio Pochettino's team are currently in much better shape than The Gunners. Too powerful. Too good. (Phil McNumpty, BBC Football) That's the first half-sensible thing he's said all season!
Absolutely! We totally dominated that game and no way did we virtually share that round thing. The number of goals is the crucial stat I agree - but to show the level of dominance AND win is a real slap in the face of the Gooners - so-called masters of possession!
Oh when the Spurs, Go marching in, Oh when the Spurs go marching in, I wanna be in that number, When the Spurs go marching in...
