you"ve always got a mate, someone in the know, the bloke in the row behind you. aint you?, and its always same bullshit, for gods sake grow up.
Don't understand why you are so upset about Pemberton. His CV isn't great, Also Johnson inherited him so if it wasn't working then they were right to get rid. You cant argue that results haven't improved since he went
No one is disputing it was a decision made between LJ and Lansdown. What I was asking was we don't know why the decision was made? Reading the Bristol Post thread he says that he did not want to work alongside Pembo no more which tells you there was an issue between them. But as to what the issue is, probably none of us would know. Not havin a pop at you or making you become the new RR (what ever that meant) just intrigued to know why you say back stabbing and asking if you know something we not know?
new desk top pal, but seriously why are you still talking the same old crap, are you suffering with some personality disorder or what?
I can't get over the fact that people are talking about Johnson as if he is our saviour, he is not, we just survived a humiliating relegation, with the investment of money he has had, the loanees at his disposal, the quality of players he inherited, we should have held our own in this league and been top half, he has split the fan base and even with the fabulous new stadium his only success is a drop in demand for season tickets of 5%, he is in my mind a total self denying failure. Pemberton twice took over the duties of management after SOD and Cott's were sacked and steadied the ship maintaining our survival, we now have a cartel of Johnson, Holden and McAllister, they were all part of and indeed in charge of the coaching set up that guided us through the most expensive failure of a season we have ever endured, I have no faith in this man as a manager and honestly worry about 2017/18 season but as I have said I will not be in attendance and along with others I have more important things to do, first time in my life I might add, I was one of the 4000 faithful back in the 80's. I honestly want Bristol City to be a top team and hope they succeed, if I am wrong and Johnson succeeds so be it, good luck and hard **** me.
On my way to Wembley for the fight tonight,I put down something one of my customers comments,ST holders not renewing.why because of the untouchable one.
play 4-4-2, play consistent team, and surprise surprise we pick up results, great win today, didn't expect anything
Took 40 games to find his side, but in those last few games, an unchanged side did brilliant. Must admit, with all the results going against us, I could see a very sticky situation if we had been given a sound beating at Brighton. Great going into the last game not having any anxiety. Saw we were 1-0 up at HT and nerves couldn't handle it. Went out for a 7 mile run knowing that when I got back, game would be over. Now with a nice few glasses of Chateau Neuf du pape to celebrate!
I read this a lot on here from many people - but how do you know Pembo wasn't the problem? Our results have improved dramatically since he left. Maybe, just maybe LJ did let Pembo influence him a bit too much after Pembo steadied the ship last season, but when things went wrong and LJ wanted to impose himself, maybe Pembo was having none of it so rightly LJ wanted him gone. Add to that and the rumours that Pembo had bust ups with the players and it now seems it was absolutley the right decision to let him go. Too many City fans will never give LJ credit for anything, simply because of the connections to his father - which again I dont get as GJ took us to the brink of the Premiership FFS!!! The Johnson family name should be the stuff of folklore at our club, yet it's anything but!! I truly don't get the anti Johnson family sentiments that appears rife amongst our fans, and to be honest those of you who are on here whinging about not renewing season tickets for next season, then don't - your negativity towards the club will not be missed!!!
