1. Maguire 2. Ranocchia 3. Jakupovic I know Jak saved the pen but without the performance the first 2 put in it would have been academic, in my opinion... Thought Elmo had a decent game too.
1: Jakupovic (Pen save alone) 2: Ranocchia (simply because Maguire will get more votes and they're both class) 3: Evandro (I think he's class. Great on the ball and does a lot of good work under the radar)
Maguire - Awesome tackling and forward runs. Jakupovic - Penalty not punching. Ranocchia - Maximum Italianesque defending.
1. Jakupovic - match saver. 2. Ranocchia - quelled Gabbiadini and Long. 3. Niasse - works his socks off. Possibly literally given the way he limped off at the end.
1. Jakupovic - potentially a season saving save. 2. Ranocchia - looked as composed and sure as ever. 3. Maguire - Hard to imagine him not playing right now.
Watching live and didn't see who gave penalty away and amazed it was given, but said before him and Sam are a great pairing.
No mention for Markovic but I thought he did ok. It seems hard to get players with decent temperament now. N'Diaye for instance seems to get wound up easily even if he puts in work. Niasse too really, although the problem this game was his finishing. He was good in front of goal for a couple of games or so, but not so good the last couple.
