    2008 we were in League One ... 2017 only made the fookin' quarters of the Champions League

    Bit of pruning and sensible signings and you will be my favourites to come up next season ... big club, great support ... and just need a spark after several years of mediocrity ...

    Can't argue with that, we had lots of 2nd chances and the only one that looked like working the FA messed up. Hopefully we will clean out the **** and join you boys again next season

    Aye just a case of luck finally running out rather than bad luck, we fully deserve it as a club. We did have some amazing escapes though and relegating the mags felt great but it was never going to last.

    Bit anti climatic for me, I actually looked forward to the " Great Escape" every season by Sunderland the last 10 or so games of the season , great entertainment . Hard to believe your going down , it shouldn't, be , but it is . See ya in a season or so ...actually we may see you next season , We( Swansea) might be following you .
