Tulsa Jack 10/1 Punchestown 3.10 has a nice profile for this race and although upped 3lb from his last run, the extra 2 furlongs should suit this lad at Punchestown. He Rock's should make sure they go a true gallop throughout and Tulsa can lob along behind and make headway late where he can hopefully pick off tired animals. Tricky to win with and a trappy race but the 10/1 is just right here and I'm hoping with some luck he runs close and bags a big win.
Many Clouds horse of the year well deserved Also, well done to this guy https://www.racingpost.com/news/new...o-823000-with-punchestown-accumulators/283785
Menorah now retired, so well deserved! Wonderful servant to his connections, this win does the heart good!
3:35 Sandown - Sugar Baron huge disappointment at Ayr when falling at the first. Better back him again, although not that confident. At least he won't be tired. They can call it what they like, but this race will always be the Whitbread for me. Was there when Taxidermist won, ridden by Mr. John Lawrence, later Lord Oaksey. Got memories all wrong first effort, was a long time ago!).
Menorah has been a fabulous servant to connections, hope he enjoys his well earned retirement. Highlight of today's racing for me. Right decision was made for him to retire as he's 12 years old - as the owner said, he's going out at the top.
Fair play to connections of Altior and Special Tiara for giving us a cracking contest here at Sandown - would have been easy for both to stay at home. Labaik with a serious injury and may not race again
Fantastic horse MENORAH and off to a well deserved retirement!! Fancied him to win the 2010 Supreme - changed my mind on the day to Get Me Out Of Here and of course I was done in the photo
Different class Altior, best chaser in training, should go for the King George as the 2 mile races are not prestigious enough apparently.
