Nothing wrong with that! He's probably worth €20m after the season he's had! Spuds would probably pay €30m and knowing our shower of clowns Marseille probably have a deal agreed already for €7m
I resent that. I went to extreme lengths this year to make sure I was not under suspicion of taking bribes in the prediction league.
I don't know about useless ****ers but I can think of one very unobservant ****er. I had this name when we were team mates in mafia
Looks more like a fishing expedition at the moment, if they had solid evidence that Charnley was involved in an criminal act then they surely would have charged him with an offence, BBC reporting says he was released without charge and HMRC may wish to speak to him again over the next few weeks.
I also notice none of the reports have said released on bail. I know they can still come back and re-arrest him later even if he isn't on bail, but don't they normally do that if they think they have a decent case?
It all seems a bit odd. They do raids to preserve evidence. Which is why initially I was like **** me this is serious. But the flip side is all day long we have been in doubt as to what the board have done. Now it seems we might be involved in a small way and the fact that charnley has been released without charge indicates that it's not us that is in the ****. Either way I'm happy that we should be in the clear and that the evidence is more towards Marseille. It sounds bad for them mind.
Bribery allegations. Got stripped of the title. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_football_bribery_scandal
It's looking more and more like they have got themselves involved with some seriously dodgy people, though it looks so far like the main focus of the investigation is against the agents/agency
