The people who run it are the joke. The one thing I always defended Ashley for was that at least we wouldn't have the slimey dodginess of Fat Freddy. We would be run professionally and in a way that would see us survive long term. If he genuinely has handed over full control of the business side to Charnley then he needs to purge the club of everyone implicated in this or **** off and take his money with him. I'd prefer to be watching a non-league team than be watching a team financed by immoral cheats.
Has anyone heard if Charnley is the only NUFC arrest so far? The press is reporting that 'several' people have been arrested overall but it's not clear if they are club employees of NUFC/WHUFC or agents etc.

Again, we don't know any of the facts, but it is very hard to imagine Carr being whiter than snow if these transfers have anything wrong with them. Pure speculation though and I may be doing him a disservice.
I bet we get an absolute wall of silence from the club too. We'll be left in the dark for weeks/months without a clue what is going on.

This time though the French football agency that we entered into deals with is under a dual investigation in France. They represent Payet too.
