Not sure why people say "it's a shame to get relegated from a league with stoke, swansea, etc in". Look who is playing for these teams nowadays. Shaqiri? World class on his day. Llorente? At least he's a top player. Negredo? Every team in the premier league now has 1-2 top top players. That includes Sunderland. Defoe is a very good, even for his age, and Pickford is future England nr1 material.

Been taking the piss but I think SAFC will come right back up too. Just need some championship goalscorer. Your defence is good enough and as long as you get a couple of experienced strikers, you will come back up just fine. The gulf between EPL and the league leagues is bigger than ever.

I don't like moyes but I think you ought to stick with him. When he was at Everton he sure did buy some good players and build a proper team. I mean he got players like Howard, Fellaini, Leighton Baines, Jagielka. Those are england international plucked from the wilderness of Wigan and Sheffield united. His football might not be the most exciting but he's a solid manager. No better or worse than fat Sam.
