HIAG is on an endless rinse cycle on this forum. His wriggle tactics now are 'don't believe anything that HIAG says' in an attempt to squirm out of his bullshit once it's been exposed. And, 'HIAG is only an online persona'. Which is his latest squirm tactic, in trying to claim that it wasn't him who claimed to run the 2004 SF marathon, but his online persona. HIAG, Tyler, Big T, Tiny T, Gobshite, Gimp .... whatever moniker he goes under, he is a confirmed Bullshitter
Well its truly deserved no matter which of those he goes under. If his online persona is bullshit then all the guff he spews must be the same.
Yes, it would be a mammoth achievement for a club like Arsenal, where you currently are. I think we are in agreement on that, Pix.
You'd think he'd have just said that he didn't run it right from the start instead of cause himself this much embarrassment.
Quentin, Quentin, Quentin ....there are two main trophies in English football m'duck ... the Premier League title and the FA Cuo ... given how competitive English football is, winning either is a tremendous acheivement and something that all managers set out hoping to do at the start of each season. If Arsenal win the Cup they will have had a successful season - only surpassed by whoever wins the league title (and possibly United winning the Europey) - something I'm sure we can all agree on? ... so if Arsenal end up with one of the two major trophies it follows that the manager of Arsenal has also had a successful season ... or at least better tan 90 other English club managers ... is that logic too much for you, or are you still there? ... Incredibly, It would appear to be your view that Wenger should not be allowed to manage Arsenal next season even if he wins one of the two major trophies in English football (again) ,yet Pooch will have had a successful season despite a miserable European campaign (double if you count both competitions) and once more failing once the pressure was on (like last season) ... provided he can finish without a trophy but above Arsenal? ... I'm actually quite saddened that you seem to be suggesting that Tottenham's ambition and measure of success each season should be so much lower than that of Arsenal.. it would seem that you have become rather scarred and embittened by your respective team's acheivements during Arsene Wenger's tenure down the road ... chins up buddy ... dare to dream
There where 2500 tickets for sale to the general public because Arsenal fans didn't even want there own allocation. I nearly bought a couple as I was bored.
Should he win it he will have earned the right to stay IMHO... for the reasons given ... didn't like van Ghoul but I thought he had earned the right to have another season after the Cup win ... if Arsenal did win the cup then they would hold the exclusive record for wins with 13 .. and Wenger would have managed them to 7 ... ... that said, if Arsenal lose the cup final then I think it would be a good and fitting time for a change ... Wenger could then go out on the back of getting them to another major final which, given his very successful history with the club,, isn't too bad a way to step down ... the second most successful manager of the EPL era...
Of coure I may have totally misjudged things, but there seemed to be 37,500 Arsenal fans and 2,500 bored scousers in Wembley at the final whistle yesterday seemingly on quite a high about the prospect of that same FA Cup final win?
For 1 they won't beat Chelsea in the final. Secondly they've had the easiest cup draw in the history of the FA cup. Finally, most fans still want Wenger gone whether they win it or not. You might be an old romantic Fossy, but today's fans expect much more from the most expensive club in the world to watch play.
Saying that Fossy.... @Tobes will vouch that Leicester fans (PL Champions) couldn't even be arsed to go and watch them play Everton. I find that very strange. Do you?
