Tim 'nice but dim' has successfully relegated Swindon - he's about as much use as a director of football as I am...
Unlikely that we will go down, but from a team which has needed a single point to be properly safe and has picked up none from the last 18, distinctly possible. Still something rotten in the state of Denmark. Six straight losses twice in twenty something games in this crap division is dire. We usually wait til November to sack the manager. I'm going next week
Well, I don't want to slate Ollie especially as I've only seen his team once on the box but something has to give. Things are rapidly going from bad to worse and not for the first time in recent years. When Warnock came back and we let him go for a second time I lost any remaining confidence in the Board. Sadly in the current age just having wealthy owner who can stave off a winding up order seems to be good enough to stay in charge of a club. Just look at Brighton and Bournemouth and ask yourself if our owners have a Scooby.
If we survive this season ,and theres no investment with at least 5/6 quality players ,(2 defenders 2 midfielders and 2 strikers,a manager and a coach ) then it will be Div1 defo.
TF wouldnt know a manager if one punched him on the nose..last one we had(twice) who could set up a team he moved on#clueless
Correct, was not looking at the "as it stands" table on the BBC site. So actually even more dire if we both finish on 50 or 51 pts. We need another 2 pts to put this situation to bed.
The only other game I have been to this season we won 3-0 against Massive. But the last two seasons I had a season ticket we were relegated. You decide.
Roll back the clock two years - I believe this was his only sacking, having previously always chosen to walk from his managerial appointments. I wouldn't mind if he did just that - couldn't be much worse for us with say Les + Ramsey behind the bench for the final two matches. 10 MAR 2015 Ian Holloway sacked by Millwall after latest defeat leaves them sliding towards relegation On Saturday the Lions lost 4-1 to Norwich, which left them second bottom in the league, eight points from safety please log in to view this image Sacked: Millwall have parted ways with Ian Holloway (Photo: Getty) Ian Holloway has been sacked as Millwall manager after their latest defeat left them second bottom of the Championship and heading for relegation. Holloway, 51, has been in charge at the New Den for just over a year, after taking over in January 2014 following the sacking of Steve Lomas. On Saturday the Lions lost 4-1 to Norwich, which left them second bottom in the league, eight points from safety. Neil Harris has agreed to take charge of the first team until the end of the season as the club begins its search for a permanent replacement. "This was a hard decision to take because we very much hoped that Ollie would prove to be the man to take us forward and on to the next level," Lions chairman John Berylson said. please log in to view this image Gone: Ian Holloway watches on from the bench during Millwall's 4-1 defeat to Norwich (Photo: Charlie Crowhurst) "This season, though, has proved to be an extremely challenging one and we now find ourselves facing another uphill battle to avoid relegation. "Ian Holloway remains a fine manager and it was his impressive track record which led us to appoint him some 14 months ago. However, our view is that the decision to part company at this stage is in the best interests of the football club going forward." Holloway has previously managed Crystal Palace and Blackpool - both of which he took up to the Premier League on meagre resources. He has also had spells at Leicester City, Plymouth Argyle, QPR and Bristol Rovers. Millwall fans were involved in disturbing scenes of crowd trouble at their trip to Rotherham last month. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/ian-holloway-sacked-millwall-after-5303218
Paying £500 a pop for 3 ST's nest year for League 1 football doesn't really appeal to me.....glad I held back on renewing.
Kilburn I cannot believe I am reading tweets from fans saying he needs a Pre season and doesn't know his best team yet? WTF! I give up.
Because the squad is poor ie quality and ability (not smithies)we will be stuck with them..who else would employ this bunch
