I'm no Tory, so don't consider this a defence, but how many people have you heard say; 'I didn't vote for her, the country didn't vote for her, why should she......' So, I can see why she is doing it in this moment of time, very much makes sense.....even though its annoying..
Yep, agreed. Plus the criticism she's received the couple of times she hasn't stuck to Cameron's manifesto.
That's because half the idiots in this country have no idea how our elections work and do not understand we vote for a party and not for a "head of state."
Will the Uni students bother voting the day before they break up That will dilute the metro liberal vote!!!
There's the World Athletic Champioships Imp!! Plus the Tests against Oz, yet again, the British Lions getting beaten in NZ, a new Wimbledon Champion to look forward to. And of course the Jazz/Soul weekender just outside Brighton. Who needs politics?
I think there will be a low turnout in general for this. I think a lot of people will have had enough. She may get a higher % of the votes but i reckon she will get less votes total.
There may also be a low turnout because some Labour supporters think Corbyn is useless but don't feel they can vote for any other party.
I think I prefer a "blackwash." When the West Indies thrashed England 5-0 in the tests back in the Good Old Days of Gordon Greenidge, Viv Richards, Clive Lloyd, Andy Roberts, and the fantastic Michael Holding.
How many Labour MPs will follow Tom Blenkinsop's lead and announce that they won;t be standing for re-election? Quite a few I predict.
If "half the idiots in the country" don't understand how the electoral system works, wouldn't that suggest there is something wrong with the system?
I know a lot of poor people, working class, live in council houses, use the NHS regularly... most of them will vote Tory. Because they read the Sun (and I think secretly hate foreigners). democracy is ****ed.
