At least Smithy we have experienced it once albeit 56 years ago! This side reminds me of that one the way they play as a team. Such a joy to watch. As I've said before 'tis the year of the cockerel'. The dream is still on. COYS! <ok>

Should have won it 55,57 and 58 years ago,if I remember it correctly. But as last season......hiccups!
I think we were, what?,just a couple of points from another double in 1966/7.

Why the thunderbastard decided to post it on social media to get people snorting indignantly rather than privately inform the club is pretty obnoxious, though.

The team is a privilege to watch now. I'm mostly hoping Spurs can finish the year playing at the level they've reached. If they can, I'm going to be very happy, regardless of what Chelsea does.

I agree 100%. Reading some of the posts on the Chelsea board, they are saying that it's not fair that there is no pressure on spurs and that all eyes are on Chelsea. Well, given that Chelsea's squad costs more than double than ours, plus the wages they pay, it stands to reason that the pressure is on them. I will be pleased as punch to finish comfortably ahead of city and united and just behind Chelsea given the fact that their resources dwarf ours. Just goes to show, it's not about how much you spend, it's what you spend it on and how these players are coached. In Poch we've got the best coach in the league. If he can improve his tactical awareness he will be a fantastic manager

The guy operates outside entrance D to the East stand and is typical of the "can't be arsed" attitude of many of his colleagues.

I have said it before, the security measures at the Lane are a joke, this supposed security operation, Is done by the club with the best of intentions, yet in reality is nothing more than a token gesture due to the sloppy approach from the hired staff.

Anyone carrying a sawn off shot gun, stands a chance of getting it into the stadium.

Thank goodness someone has brought this issue to the clubs attention.

That bloke needs a slap for being so lacklustre but the knobber that's plastered it all over social media is a dirty little grass. Mention it to Spurs via an email or something private but posting that just for likes and RT's is pure muggy.

East Stand get off lightly though judging by this steward. Come to Park Lane and more often than not these days you get "Green Team" giving you a right old frisk from head-to-toe.

I used to get proper frisked during my nightclub days; even had my bollocks felt a couple of times. I still used to smuggle stuff in, and we're not talking knives

If you want to smuggle sometime in to a football ground, no amount of frisking will stop you

Heh, I remember my mate wrapping a cloth banner (bed sheet) around his middle to get in to a game - do people still do that?

He wouldn't get into the Lane with a bed sheet around his middle, the turnstiles are ridiculously tight.
