This is great news. I looked at the OS, just to see a picture, and the one posted of Gabbiadini does rather make him look like a slightly unhinged axe killer.
Still, if it scares defenders, it's all good

 

City have no fresh injuries with just Sagna Gundogan & Jesus on the sidelines
With the ghost looking like being in net again we need to stop saints shooting,even Ali Dia would fill his boots against him

Peps team selections can be very difficult to predict but I suspect against a very decent saints side we will set up on the cautious side of gung-ho

We've been there this season. Think forster had less than 50% shots to saves at one point.

Would be interesting to put longs inability to score against Bravo's inability to save and see who comes out on top, but I really hope we have Gabbiadini back as he could have a field day

I'm going to have to spend 20 minutes now going through my Saints predictions only to discover that I predicted us to be top of the table and only 8 positions out whilst Mark is 9 positions out!

PEH and Clasie deserve another game after their great display against WBA

 

Reckon Gabbi might start on bench. Davis n Clasie in midfield.

 

I did predict us to lose once - Sunderland away - we won 4-0

 

yep, no point in bringing Davis back if he's not 100%

 

I'm going to let the Frenchman pick who he wants.

 

So am I, because funnily enough, whoever I pick, he still gets to choose the team.

 

Drop him? He wasnt in the last game and we won the midfield battle easily against a physical west brom side, so yes.

 

I'd also stick with PEH and Clasie, they're more defensively minded than Davis and we'll need that against ManCity.


For me the key here is Cedric and Bertrand still need to get forward when possible - in games where they get stuck back we tend to get stuck too with no out balls. If we lose it then Clasie and PEH can cover the gaps that occur.

Gabbi in for Long if he's fit enough, with Long coming on later against a tiring MCity defence.
