Using PureVPN it seems that Bet365 and Paddy Power will not allow me access but William Hill and Totesport so far seem fine. I shall test others in due course.

You may have to look into this a bit further stick as you are intending (presumably) to become a Spanish resident which, I think, could mean that you will be subject to Spanish taxation. (eg I'm subject to French taxation). If that is the case you will be taxed on your winnings*. To ensure no-one cheats the system, on line bets must be placed through a bookmaker authorised in Spain with a ".es" domain.

    * I think I read that, at some stage, it may be possible to offset gains with losses

Stick, have a play around with some other PureVPN servers, I was able to use all bookmakers from the Manchester server on PureVPN. Additionally, if you're using an android device, there are some different connections that you can try if you're experiencing slow connection speeds. You might also want to consider turning off you're location on the device (particularly if using a mobile). That way the device (or receiving server) determines your location based on your apparent ISP location, which when using a VPN appears to be the location that VPN connects you to, rather than where you physically are. You may also want to try playing around with the time zone on your device (if it has changed) because some websites pick up on the time difference. You can use the VPN for alsorts, including ITV player (saturday racing) and all other catch up services. If you need any more info, drop me a PM.

Just be careful using a VPN to hide where you are when in Spain. If you have a big win and it's discovered you aren't betting through an authorised bookmaker via a .es domain in Spain, you may find they refuse to pay out if it is deemed an illegal bet. Just something to be aware of.
