Also saw Fraser got booked in the last few mins. That wouldn't be for his biblical time wasting would it?
Yoshi saying he was happy for Fraser and for the big 3 points, but mostly happy he didn't mess up his pre-match speech
I think it might have been due to him venting at the officials for what he thought was an offside that was not given - twice he made his views clear about the linesman. I think he was booked just before a corner rather than a goal kick.
Les has pulled yet another rabbit out of the hat with Claude, some of the football that we have played recently has been joyous, not only it is pretty to watch it is effective too. With a pre season and our big guns to return we have a lot to be optimistic about. Should add that Fraser has been back to his normal self for the last few games.
There's somewhere that has a stadium rocking! My big brother, even older than me ,can you believe it, emigrated there two years ago. A bit different from Enfield. Weekly earthquakes, wild fires, tsunamies. He knows where to live the quiet life
I had never experienced an earthquake before, but in the first 24 hours that I was in NZ, after emigrating, I awoke in my bed in Christchurch with the floor moving. I remarked about it in the morning and the Kiwi rellies said, oh yeah, it wasn't upto much though. I kind of got the idea after that.
Another very good performance. I thought Clasie dominated the first half, with Maya stepping up to the plate, once WBA started to get a head of steam up, ably supported by the rest of the defence, especially big Fraser. Some lovely 1 and 2 touch football all over the pitch, and some of Redmond's runs with the ball were a joy to behold. Long, oh Shane. I love his workrate and chasing down, but his finishing...... I really don't know what he was trying to do, when clear on goal, but if he chose to dive rather than take on the shot, then his confidence needs building up, big time. And his touch - so many good attacking positions are ruined by his loose control, which often leaves us wide open for counter attacks. I think he will be third choice next season, assuming we bring in someone else to compete with Manolo, but not a bad option to come off the bench. Lots of compliments from the commentators, with the pundit suggesting we would be a really good team, if we had a decent, goal scoring striker. The commentator reminded him that we had the injured Gabbi, but then ruined it by wondering if we would be able to keep hold of him, it he kept scoring. Boring.

Fantastic result! 8th place is up for grabs. WBA are fading and Saints are on the march. 8th place would be a great achievement for a season where we've had a new manager, lost a few players (sigh), played in the Europa League and got to a cup final (we woz robbed ) . Come on Saints!
I don't know who must have had a word with Fraser during the week but he was like a new signing today. Welcome back big fella ......................... you took charge of the box like you had never been away.
4th consecutive top 8 finish would be brilliant. I've said for a while that if we want to progess to a higher level, then we need to try and consistently finish in an around that mark for a 5-10 year period. While the money is big n publicity so high it will improve the clubs profile and image hugely and we're making great steps at the moment. Given the circumstances I never expected it this season so huge credit goes to Claude and the squad Happy days
It's interesting because yet again we will go into the summer with a squad that if kept together with a few additions could be great next season. Maybe this is the summer we hold on to them. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
Blimey!! 2010! I thought we were still in League 1 and had just won the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Could be early 2013, the eve of Nigel'slas match in charge?
I said man months ago that Claude was a good intelligent person and an unassuming manager. He is to be valued.
I didn't say about going in heavy, and I didn't, thanks for your concern. 2/1 was a good price in my view but hey the bookies were proved right as they usually are in popular markets. Happy we won though and won a bit on the grand national today so I'm happy
