"3.05 Brown Panther/Census - The sort of race that you can back two against the field and at 11/2 and 5/1 respectively I think they are a great bet against their elders. Brown Panther should hold Census on form but I have to state that Census looks a progressive sort and could bridge the 6 lengths gap from Royal Ascot. Also done the reverse forecast. "

    That will do very nicely!!!

Very impressed by Census today, he finally impressed me! I still think Brown Panther is good enough for the St Leger but he needs to be ridden prominently (once bitten twice shy today I feel)

I love this time of year. As soon as something wins a nice 2 year old race (and fencing really did look good) they're telling you the odds for the derby. Nothing like living in the m,oment is there?<laugh>

Well, zumba class wasn't too bad. As usual, I was at the back of the class; I reckon that where you get the best view.

Football practice is becoming more difficult every week and if the government ever introduces a total ban on smoking in all public and open places, I fear I'll have to give it up completely.

The 2.45 was the mish-mash/pinsticker of a race that we all suspected it would be.

Nass, just checked the results from Kempton last night...you win, I don't; nowt changes. Well done.

    Bunty sends his regards.

DG didn't get a run but that couldn't have been easier. It was a good boost for Frankel although Zoffany hasn't really boosted the form that well. Maybe Excelebration should have another crack at Frankel.

I hope he does Ron as i think should Excelebration and Goldikova run at Ascot it will provide another real test for Frankel, but i feel he would still win well.

Imaginary world in the 4.30 at Newmarket is way too big at 16-1, hugely consistent in even better company. I would not be surprised if it wins but have just backed each way.

Got third but should have won in my opinion. She did not jump well and had horrendous position throughout having to be pulled out for a run. Jockey asked her late after everyone else was rowing away and hence finished full of running and 100 yards more would have got the winner i feel. I think is worth following in the same grade.

    Good shoout Bluesky.

Nice to excelebration win today but I wonder if connections will want to take on Frankel again...not many other options tbh at G1,natural step up after todays G2....Celebration mile another G2 option I suppose, even if penalised.
