The defence and midfield defence was much better the second half, closed them down more and first to most balls. We are the better side, but we are with Burnley too but didn't beat them. Hopefully this sets us up to for the rest of the season. Hopefully Swansea implode.

The bookies must be big believers in the ''bottom at Christmas'' stat.

What a game, what a nice set of results for us. Had to overcome a few things but the guys did it. So proud of the team and their performance.

Never mind relegation, we're only 7 points off 9th! Odds on top 10?:emoticon-0136-giggl:1980_boogie_down:

Agree wholeheartedly, the offside goal so late in the first half could have really started a defensive wobble and bring doubt into the game - it did nothing of the sort, the second half, while not as exciting, was very professionally played. Well done City, great performance.

We'll be in Europe next year. If there's a war.

Steady on, we tend towards the "glass half empty" point of view on here.

I still think we'll be relegated. Long way to go yet and it will be tough. I can only really see another 6 points at best, which I doubt will be enough.

Can we just take a moment to re live Harry's ball for the second goal, that was world class.

Despite a cluster fk of a decision for boro's second that was an all round great performance .. the lads were up for it from the start .. all of the players deserve a mention they all put a great shift in but Harry and Clucas were absolutely immense tonight .. gonna enjoy tonight .. just need to pick up a win from somewhere on the road to back our home form up .. lets give it a go at man city .. you never know .. their defence ain't world beaters

Well we were all saying 6 points were a must against the Appy Ammers and Boro.. we got them. Now two tricky aways, but neither team in great form, so who knows?

Man City are probably the most unpredictable of the 'Big 6', they can be brittle, it's a big ask but we'll certainly be confident, Swansea will be crestfallen and the 'ammers are in freefall..
