    I went to Meeru back in 2009 and managed to watch city v Villa in the Fa cup, it also has a full size football pitch and the guest play the staff every 2 weeks, it's a big event for the staff and they even ship in other staff from other islands to play!

    They only show the Maldive Premier League, it's Atol United v Volcano Fart tonight.

    There's bound to be a telly on Thilafushi. It's the highest point in the Maldives, so should be good for reception. <ok>

    To be fair to him, I really don't think being in Vegas is anything to boast about hence I doubt he was doing that.

    Easy tigers - I really wasn't showing off- I not a big fan of the place, it's just a big shopping centre in a desert. Just a genuine question as I know there are a few posters on here who live in the states
