Bristol City head coach Lee Johnson told BBC Radio Bristol: "We know we can be the best team on the day, in this division, against anybody. "That is the key message now for the last eight games. Every game in the last eight games is an opportunity for us. "Brentford will try and become a possession-based side and it will be up to us to impose our strengths on their weaknesses."

Normal service resumed I see, been cutting up a cider apple tree in my garden that came down. 2-0 good old little Lee,has he gone yet.
So, if that's normal, then what was the Huddersfield result? A fluke? I managed to stream the first half and we were awful. My stream broke for the second half so I can't comment.
Yes. That day we were excellent. Today, as with every other game I've seen this year bar Huddersfield, we were woeful. Anyone blaming Pemberton for our defensive woes are off the money as today it was shocking. Joe Bryan was simply abysmal.
Lotta people not renewing sts under this clown. Lansdown is losing the respect of a big majority of fans. Bristol Rugby down Bristol City will follow suit.
Today was the players, not LJ, it was a terrible performance, for the first goal Joe Bryan didn't know what was going on, from their players crowding the keeper to ball watching at a schoolboy level for the rebound, he has to take full blame for that goal, I think the early booking rattled him and his game suffered. I have seen City live 4-5 times this season and each time I think O'Neil has been a liability I would be interested to see his pass completion ratio from this game on passes over 5 yards, I don't think it'll be very high. O'Dowda doesn't offer anything and isn't strong enough, I thought it against Huddersfield but as we won 4-0 nobody looked to closely- he never wins the ball and never wins the tussles. Tomlin didn't do anything today, like O'Neil his pass completion ratio must have been close to zero. The only player who can look at themselves in the mirror and say I played well is Frank Fielding. Too many of players just aren't good enough, I thought we would be top 12 this season, I knew this squad wasn't good enough for top 6, and I think that delusion amongst our fans who thought we were is what has driven the resentment this season, yet we don't look top 20 on this showing, we don't keep possession at all, even when we beat Huddersfield they had twice as much possession as us. If it's LJ or someone else we need to take stock in the summer and really look at who's good enough at this level.
I have'nt bothered renewing our football or rugby tickets. I cannot face another season in league one. SL is in for a bit of shock when both teams go down. All this crap about our squad is under achieving, well it aint, its s--t ! We are where we are because that is where we deserve to be. Watched that first half today on some german stream and was so angry I let the missus turn it over and watch Emmerdale on catch up.
I went down the gate yesterday to watch the stream, some things are clear to me. They have an infactuation with 'tucking in' on set pieces and when under pressure, it allows so much space to sides that play with decent wingers, both Bryan and Korey got destroyed yesterday. absolute naivety by the manager for me. Also we are starting games with a very low tempo which again is down to the manager. those who have played at any level know it is very difficult to up team tempo during a half, we seem to be playing a 'cancel them out for 20' philosophy which has backfired on us on multiple occasions.
[QUOTE="Red Hub, post: 10389250, member: Watched that first half today on some german stream and was so angry I let the missus turn it over and watch Emmerdale on catch up.[/QUOTE] I turned it off with 20 mins to go. It was depressing. LJ is not a manager of men. Without that quality he will never achieve anything of note.
