Whatever the letters to the paper say it was a scheduling error. We have two away saturday matches coming up and they have had 2 back to back away matches. It could have been avoided.
Just read the HDM on-line match report. This is the equivalent of City losing at home about 10-2. Not one comment yet and the reporter is very, very soft on the 'mighty black and whites'. Can you imagine the tone of the reporting if City had just lost 10-2 at home and the ground was empty ten minutes before the final whistle blew ?
Not if we stay up. There are still plenty of people who will put up with anything in order to see the big teams of the PL to add to the hardcore of fans who refuse to be driven away by the Gruesome Twosome.
Or people who just want to go andsupport their team and put up with the owners as they have no say in who uns their club. Bit like Sunderland fans, Man U. Fans, Charlton fans etc etc etc Maybe instead of that coffin march you lot, the hardcore, should have all just stopped going? Or would that have been giving in.
Those will be the hardcore who refuse to be driven away by the owners. Which I referred to in my post. Hope that clears things up Chazz. Not that it should have been necessary.
Before the coffin march 20,000 had already stopped going. We stuck around when we were at the bottom and the coffin march and subsequent Action Group changed the course of the club. The problems fans think we have today bare no comparison to those days.
I agree. I just get bored of the "PL" fansbollocks. If peo,e started watching us in 2008 and are still here good on em. Some people dip in and out cos of finances etc. The sneering and categorization of fans is boring and is just to make some people feel superior.
Someone who followed the club through thick and thin and never threw the towel in, stopped supporting or ****ed off to rugby league.
