Maybe QPR want him to leave? It says seven-figure fee. Surely its worth upping the bid to £1million?

He'd be a good addition, £1m doesn't sound overly expensive at this level and he has bags of quality

    What a team that is!

Hope we tie this deal up as soon as possible. £1million is a bargain for a experienced Championship CB.
Maynard or Rodriguez, don't mind really!

If our reported asking price for Puncheon is £1m and theirs for Gorkss is also £1m. I don't know why both clubs won't accept a straight swap deal.

Sounds a great player & looks like he had a great season last year. Didn't QPR say they are looking elsewhere now & not interested in Puncheon ?

Gossip journalism. It's so lazy that they couldn't even get "make weight" correct! That said £1m would be a steal. I'd go so far as to suggest that £1m PLUS Puncheon would be good business.

Gorkss isn't in the QPR squad today.

As expected, Gabbidon makes his debut in the defence.

Isn't it amazing that we could end up with Gorkss and Fonte as our central defence partnership for a combined £2.2m - It just astonishes me considering Leicester had to pay out a whomping £5.5m for Matty Mills alone - and IMO both are better than Mills - all be it perhaps in different ways, but still... Fonte was a God-send and it just reiterates the fact that Cortese is one of the best things to ever happen to this football club, an actual business man rather than an actual clown i.e Lowe and all the other crooks out there.

Gorkss price has just gone up by a couple million judging by qpr's defending.

He may not have to fight too hard to get his place back

Might just make them even more determined to get Puncheon though. Conceding four at home ia dreadful yes, but so is failing to score at home to Bolton.

Gorss wasn't even on the bench. Something doesn't add up. There best defender last season. Maybe he is on his way to us.

Not the best start to ship 4 at home. Seems QPR fans really rate Gorss & can't make out what is going on .

Just a question.......They see Puncheon as a good player.......We see Gorkss as a good player.........Neither are any where near each others first team..........Is there something about each player that we are nor seeing? Are we trying to get rid of one type of player only to get another of the same back?

Maybe both Gorkss and Puncheon just need a 'change of scenery'?<whistle>
