This season isnt looking too promising yet and i'd like to know people predictions for the season. And who are we gonna sign.

I personally think i its gonna be frustrating because we expect so much and we'll finish around mid-table. I think we won't do much untill 31st august and we'll rely on the loan market again.

I dont think we are going to sign anybody...... (anybody that we've ever heard of anyway.)

I would be pleased if we got into play offs, although with current squad and form (carried on from last season) I can't see it happening in the near future, at least until some money is spent on some proper quality players. Currently we are much weaker than last season,.

Then we just have to hope that Grayson can organise em, motivate em and get em playing as a team

Welcome to the forum, plenty of threads on who we might and might not sign all end in disappointment. I would suggest you have a scan through a few of the posts and get to know some of the characters in here as there are some more annoying than others ;)

    Welcome :)

Our squad looked dreadful in pre season and still is, dreadful 2 games so far. We need 5/6 players still imo. Really miss Somma and Becchio, loving Nunez and Clayton, best two midfielders atm

    Welcome! :)

I still think we're a left-back and a central midfielder short, and I'd also like to see reinforcements for the strikers and centre-backs. We've not spent nearly enough to be realistically hoping for or expecting promotion, so I think any top-half finish would be a good achievement for Grayson with what he has to work with. Of course I'd love to be pleasantly surprised, but I'm not getting my hopes up only for them to get shot down again in an instant.

As you see there is a lot of negativity from fans on here. I actually think we have a stronger squad than last season, however we should be looking at a LB which i wouldnt mind seeing lees there and a striker atleast until becchio gets back. Would like to see a CM signed as cover

top 6 aining for, we'll see how the team pans out in the next few games, going to be tough this year and on paper looks a lot harder, if the defence can get it together and we at least get someone decent for upfront we'll be fine

Very simple, with the current squad we will struggle, perhaps even relegated. Two or three quality players with experience will make a huge difference and could mean mid table or above. If we play the reserve players (Lees, White, Parker etc) we will be relegated, if they were good enough they would be in the first team and not only in the squad.

Who is worse than Leeds in the league? The other teams have improved and brought in quality, we have stayed static. I agree Burnley, Watford and Hull might also struggle this season, but there is only four or five equal to us and therefore we will be in the bottom six.

Brighton have brought in some decent players and now have a brilliant new stadium, so they will be fine this season. Derby will be mid table or above, Doncaster have the same as Leeds in terms of quality, but have a much better team spirit, so will be mid table or just below. I'm sorry, we have a very average squad and others have improved, that on top of the fact that all the other teams want to beat Leeds United, means we will really struggle.

    ?...Normy (above)

Brighton will have increased support and this helps a load of clubs. Doncaster have a similar quality of squad and have a team spirit which Leeds don't, hence they will be fine. I'm sorry is that simple enough for you?

The way we played in our first 2 games is worse than any team ive seen in this league!! Hull are struggling tho, I think them and Watford (loss of Graham) will be candidates for the drop ski

Thanks for the advice, i have looked through quite a few posts now and there seems to be quite a few strong characters, especially with the Grayson debate.
