    I'm confused with the offside rules now...Sterling was offside when the ball was passed through, but because it wasn't passed to him, he wasn't interfering with play. But when the next pass is hit back into Sterling, he's still ahead of any Liverpool player because he was offside in the first place. His position, although not interfering with play, gave him a huge advantage for the second phase.

    I don't get it.

    2nd phase ****... players do it from free kicks loads. Stand offside so when ball goes past them they are goal side of their defender for the knock back. It's gaining an advantage by being offside initially and rules need to be changed.

    I know it's hard being a ref but I'd love to just be able to show them Fernandinho 3 tackles, Matip a 'block' tackle and ask which one should be booked.

    Show them firms tackle winning the ball from side and toure studding can in chest and ask if they are worthy of same punishment etc
