So after 8 weeks of slamming my head against a wall and watching paint dry its finally here and i....am....EXCITED.

Personally i think a top half finish and a good cup run is heading our way this season. We have bought in QUALITY players in Cabaye, Ba, Marveux and still have all bar two of our first team from last season, HBA is miles better than Nolan and if we get in a decent Left back in to replace Jose all will be fine.

But its a forum so there should be discussion,so there is a poll to see what you think. Ive gone for 10-12 with a good cup run. (league positions are the same but Cup runs are a good/bad runs)

So what do you think guys and gals. Keep the faith, back the lads, ignore Ashley and sing our hearts out everygame (as always) and i am quitely optimistic for the season. HTL

P.S. very excited about the youth prospects and think they will have a major part in any cup runs we go on

13-15 Good cup run, the team has been unsettled too much for a top 10 imo.

Gonna be awkward and say 9th-11th, with us hopefully getting to the quarters in the cups.

10 to 12 bad cup runs. But a decent striker and LB and I might be a bit more optimistic.

picked 7-9 but think we'll finish 9th and have a good league cup run but a poor FA cup run

If we finish 10th I'll be happy and one decent cup run. Really need to keep Joey for the season. As we all know, a striker and a LB and we are sorted. Steven Taylor and Dan Gosling will be great players to have back for the whole season I hope. Looking forward to seeing what Ferguson can do this season.

Enthusiasm is the key to excitement.
And disappointment but that's the beautiful game!
I say top 6 lads. With a quarter-final CC finish and a Final FA cup finish. Boom.

    7-9th I think.

And a good cup run too. By good cup run, I mean not getting knocked out in one of the first stages like we always seem to do. There's more depth this season and some of the youth players are coming along very nicely, so we should be able to put out a stronger 11 for cup runs than we've been able to for a while.

Get a Left Back Pieters, and a Forward and all will be well. Also keep key players such as Barton etc.

I reckon about 10-12 as Wigan, West Brom, Swansea, QPR, Norwich, Stoke, Wolves, and Them who shall not be named will all do worse then us. Also i reckon we'll do well in the carling cup but not the F.A.
