I for one am not sure about Robbie Keane making the move to us would be good or not.
Having watched him at West Ham last season he to be frank look past his best at 31 years old and was poor most weeks. I think he only scored twice for them in 9 or 10 games. My mate who's a hammers supporter said he thinks a younger Keane would be great for us but his words were "he has lost his way and his hunger to score". This is only our view and he may well come in and do well who knows but for me its like there is no one left now on Sven's stiker list so it him or nothing but I think I would give him a miss!

GOOD. 3 years ago liverpool signed him for 20 million so that shows he has quality. if we get him, he will rock the championship

Good enough is all I can say. When a team is struggling like they were, most players heads will go down. Changing to side with great team spirit and a positive outlook would make all the difference for any player and one of his calibre should find it relatively easy to score in The Championship. :emoticon-0148-yes:

I think he'll be good for us if we can get a winger in to create chances for him. He's not the Keane of old but if he was willing to give his all in a lower division he should be the goalscorer we've been looking for.

I would have preferred Maynard as he's younger and more exciting, but if Keane was to sign I wouldn't complain considering some of the other names we've been linked with - it could be a lot worse.

Robbie Keane would definitely be a top signing, certainly one of the better strikers currently available. However it's no means certain we will get him if its a choice between us and a PL team.

Coming from someone who has followed his entire career .... He would only be good for one game and then be arrested... for RAPING THE LEAGUE!

You won't find a player with the movement and ability to read the game like Keane available to us.

    Sign Him Up!

Keane would be the signing of the summer in the Championship.

With the right supply (That Wellens, Danns, Gally ect will give him) then he won't stop scoring.

Him and Nugent would be class and I wouldn't be surprised if they got 40 goals between them like Holt and Jackson did last season <ok>

    Seriously hope this will happen.

NOTE: Although it is only a rumour, apparently he will be watching from the stands tomorrow following Spurs' called off game.

Everyone on Twitter now saying Keane to LA is on. Fox Soccer saying it's happening, Sky Sports News also, ESPN's Shaka Hislop has said he's flying to LA now. Another one bites the dust then!

Shaka Hislop didnt he used to play for West Ham.

Someone from LA told a website they arent interested in Robbie Keane. If Keane doesnt come there cant be much more names on Svens list, but Nicky Maynard is still on there

but he wouldnt have as we have resorted for him, not made him number one target. We may end up in a horrible position of having to pay his wages.

But off topic but anyone seen the banter at the minute on twitter between Paul Gallagher and Kasper Schmeichel. Gally cut the ends of Schmeichels socks off, gave Richie Wellens the deep heat treatment and cut holes in David Nugents boxers

Back to Yak I dont think Sven wants him anymore but if there is no one else left he may go back in for him
