Hibs have two other good strikers (Agogo is one, can't remember the other), so he'll have to fight for his place in the team, which can only be good.

Great experience for him, hopefully he does well and they extend it - a whole season could do him wonders.

Perfect place for him, will probably get a run out against the weaker sides (League 1 quality) and if he works well get his chance against the better sides (Championship quality). <ok>

Having lived in Edinburgh, I know a fair few Hibs fans and am well versed in the griping about (amongst other things) the club's parsimonious-to-the-point-of-ridicule transfer policy, rubbish Puma kits and recent employment of Colin Calderwood, which means Airey should feel right at home there.

Good luck to the lad. Shame the Hibees couldn't stuff the Mackems last weekend.

We should have thrown Perch in for, for free of course. Just to show some good will to Calderwood...

Weaker sides = League 2 standard, but nevertheless good experience. First team football is essential.
