I thought she was stuffed at the start there mate but what a run she came with.
I did say at the weekend that I thought it ominous that they bypassed Sandown.
History made, first girl to win the bumper and I am doing cartwheels round the living room!

I heard Joseph Obrien saying in one of the preview nights, Gordon has been winning all the bumpers in Ireland and hes got nothing in the Cheltenham race.

Seen this today, could have been kept for Aintree mares bumper, took the hint.

the county, looks similar type to Ted Veale who won it few years ago

backed him start of the week but wasnt expecting the form to get franked like that and for elliot to be running riots and saying his best chances are on friday

thinks its still 10/1 just now, wont go off that big

    Just realistic Mick.
If you enjoy watching bad grade ones then good for you. I don't.
Nice to see you once every 12 months as ever. :emoticon-0148-yes:

    Great work today lads <ok>

Couldn't force myself to back at HQ today, I had more questions than answers of the runners so stayed clear. Tomorrow looks a better opportunity for one or two I feel.

Monaco are lively to watch ain't they? A nice change from the hum drum sitting back football we have become accustomed too. Must be a record amount of goals for this stage of the comp surely.

Watching the Michel Roux Jr TV show tonight on eclectic UK restaurants. What the hecky pecky has this to do with racing? To be honest not much but the Roux brothers (his father and father's brother) came to England in the early '50s at the invitation of the Royal trainer Peter Cazalet. The training establishment was Fairlawn and was probably the best place to eat in the Uk in the 50s, 60s and early 70s as the Rouxs plied their trade. By the time Cazalet died they had already set up Le Gavroche in London. That's why Roux jr was born in Kent and says that is his home

Fulke Walwyn might have been a better trainer (maybe) but the tucker was better at Fairlawn.

British food has improved immeasurably in the last 20 years.

think City will score and take the tie. Off to Cleeve Hill tomorrow but my confidence is shattered. Going with TOP NOTCH, FOR GOOD MEASURE, EMPIRE OF DIRT & YOUKNOWHATIMEANHARRY. it has to be the day the bookies take a hammering.

You may be right Nik, City totally over running then now. The early exertions possibly telling on Monaco.
