    In the absence of Nolan I think Tayls could be the man to hold the dressing room together. Always comes out with great rallying cries in the press and although Colo has been made cpt, I think Tayls could be the real leader on the pitch!!!

    He will be a big player. I still think he should have been captain. Oh well, he'll get the armband next year.

    Taylor is a local lad and a big character, what ever passion lost with Nolan is doubled in Taylor IMO.

    If Nolan would only stay for a 5 year deal then **** that. Taylor is one of our biggest characters. I love how he always comes to the Gallowgate and shouts "****in come on" and gets the crowd buzzing.

    Lets hope the atmosphere is great and we kick off with a good result. I'm hoping for a draw. I just hope we don't play well and make defensive errors.

    All players I reckon will have quite a big influence over morale and fighting spirit.

    Agreed. Thinking about it this way, and thinking about his odd goal and his derby performances, he's worth keeping because he's only low wages and the fans love him despite the fact that he's ****e. That's how you know you have a special player.

    Despite the fact that i get pissed off at Shola a lot, i always find it hard to hate him. I <3 Shola

    Rare that you see Shola and fighting spirit in the same post. Usually someone unexpected comes to the fore. This season I think it could be Dan Gosling

    He might be **** on the pitch, but he's been at this club for 11 years, so he'll really have a personal connection with it by now and care a lot for what happens.

    this, hes awful tbh but you have to have a spot soft for him! hes turned down barca, madrid and milan for us after all :D

    Well with both Nolan and Campbell gone we do need a new fatty to step up and take their place and Tayls was certainly developing a similar figure last season
