The sun shines on the righteous and the smug, and Kodija keeps scoring. Life is wonderful as long as you earn a big salary and don't have to prove anything to get it and you have job security for as long as you want, but I'm being unrealistic because those kind of jobs aren't available anymore according to the business world pundits. If you should hear of any vacancies in that type of job just let me know, but I won't hold my breath.

Not sure what Kodjia scoring has to do with McClaren getting sacked or LJ getting a contract renewal.
Derby have officially offered the job to Rowett http://www.skysports.com/football/n...rby-approach-gary-rowett-over-manager-vacancy Cant see him turning it down, so another golden chance is lost
Derby's becoming something of a revolving turnstile for managers - their current chairman is fond of swinging his axe. Paul Clement's success at Swansea so far is possibly the most note-worthy of those he deemed 'not good enough'. If I were Rowett, I'd jump at the chance, because they're a team that have the resources and stature to reach the playoffs (if not more, next season), but if the worst happens, I'd get a nice juicy payout, with my reputation largely intact.
Just rubbing in the point that he's scoring goals, and for some reason couldn't fit in at Bristol City, but as you say nothing to do with LJ.
Yep nothing to do with LJ, Villa offered him bigger trousers so he could put all his money in his pockets. Getting rid of JK with that much profit is one of the things we did get right this season.
hope it bites them ... ... last season they were "not to fussed to go up" this they were and guess what fell flat on their face
A well advised man, bigger club, bigger benefits, bigger future, bigger rewards and most of all bigger and better manager, I hope he gets all he deserves, we got £15m not bad all around..
Yes, and we used it well didn't we ! Bottom 3 and facing a fight for survival. There comes a point when 10 million quid is worth less than the player you have. However, he wanted away, same as Freeman wanted away, same as all the others wanted away. I am sure its not all about the management. It would suggest other reasons behind our inability to hang on to our jewels, although what they are is not clear.
10 million for a player who didn't want to play for us and moved to a bigger club with bigger wages. It's quite clear what his reasons were. Freeman's were less obvious but he is from that area so maybe that was it. Ayling was deemed surplus to requirements, which in hindsight was a mistake but not many thought that at the time( cue the multitudes of posters saying ' I did')
Sorry mate, well corrected..Bigger and better manager then in Roberto Di Matteo and a even bigger and better manager now in Steve Bruce...
I don't think it's been badly spent. With a competent manager we'd be doing a lot better, the squad does look very decent.
How much of the profit has been invested in players that don't actually play? Even if they are playing remember it's in a very poor team so how much of our demise is down to the manager rather than the players he bought?
