He's done jack ****e yet. If you were using that logic, they'd go for Clement first as he's made a bigger impact so far.
Nothing to do with the groundsmen, problem is the frequency of use. Having two games in two days on it is always going to **** it up. It has zero time to recover. Thought the groundsmen did a great job getting it to that condition.
Fair point, but Clement has Derby on his CV, whereas even if Silva fails at HCAFC his reputation will be out there..
Not necessarily, we haven't got the likes of Llorente and Sigurðsson playing for us and we still beat them three times this season, twice under Clement.
To be clear, Silva doesn't think FC should be kicked out, he just thinks we shouldn't have to play the day after they've played.
The growing season is upon us. The pitch should be in a better condition come 1st April and our next home game.
I think the thread isn't just about Silva's comment though, it's about people here being, rightly, annoyed by Hull FC being able to change the days they play at our inconvenience. People have talked about this before, including me just before this story broke in the thread on the news story about the recent friendly match.
Begs the question 'again', what happened to the lamps that supposedly for the exact purpose of encouraging growth.
There's no way Silva is gonna be the Hull City gaffer next season ,I think he has shown enough already
11 pts from 8 games (plus a couple of wins in cups) If we can keep up that ratio of PPG for th next 10 games we'll have good chance of staying up
Apart from the problem regarding altering the dates of televised matches for either club the fact is, and I don't like it, that FC are joint tenants and we have no priority over them As far as I am aware if there is an actual fixture clash FC get precedence at the end of their season and we get precedence at the end of ours.
