I've given my opinions. Are you hoping for an official trust response on favourite types of banners? I think it's unlikely.
I'm not hoping, I'm just surprised to have not received any opinions from that quarter. But you've made it clear that none willl be forthcoming, thanks.
When the Allams bought us they said it was a gift to the city. I'm no artist but a banner which highlights that quote and their subsequent 'gifts' (name change application, season ticket prices, concessions abandoned, local clubs evicted, plus many others) would highlight the gifts they have bestowed upon us
You've got give the Allams one thing, they know divide and conquer. At least they do judging by this thread.
Indeed. But we move on. I'll be putting together a group over the next few days to work up some ideas. Anyone wanting to volunteer to play a role, please drop me a direct message.
Time to resurrect this. Is there interest in sourcing funding for a Marco Silva banner? Any design ideas? Someone willing to draw it up?
And there's some Tigers on Tour at the cricket in Barbados (anyone know what this one actually says?)... please log in to view this image
Wasn't that already done and got an outing at the Man U home cup leg? Something like that was behind me in East Stand
Why was the 'IN BRUCE WE TRUST' banner taken down ? He was very much a part of the club and it's history. Chelsea don't take banners dedicated to past players and managers down, nor does anyone else for that matter. So why do we ?
To right too, we don't want managers coming here and getting us in the premier league, twice and to FA Cup Finals and Europe. We want the good old days of Terry D*lan and back to back relegations, out of all the cups by bonfire night, crumbling terraces and more nights at that cracking little chip shop behind Rochdale's main stand. Cannot we use the back of that Bruce banner for one of Terry D*lan and Jeff Lee ?
Give over Dick, they were great days at FER ARK. Brabin's wayward shots causing a rust storm as they hit Best Stand roof. It was cool to be ****.
