THis is the thing - if we do make it to the CL, I would feel quite confident because it seems to suit us. Compare that with Rodgers when he didn't have a clue on how to progress in Europe.

Isn't that assuming with have the same team and approach?

Nothing stupid about what I said, but you jumped to Man Utd's defence before looking
Shut up you daft twat <laugh>

You claiming a stamp on the head was somehow less dangerous than an elbow was solely driven by your bile spewing United bitterness, nothing more nothing less. As you've just further demonstrated lol

I just want [HASHTAG]#consistency[/HASHTAG] but even when banning both players the FA need to be seen to favour Man Utd

Its got **** all to do with bias, you could claim bias if they didn't charge Zlatan.

What the **** does it matter to United that Mings got a bigger ban?

A 3 match ban for an elbow is standard

A 3 match ban for a stamp is also standard

Has anyone been given a straight 5 match ban before, or are the FA just making things up as they go after Zlatan was caught [HASHTAG]#bangtorights[/HASHTAG] by every media outlet on the planet?

It matters because Man Utd, and every kid in the country, has been told by the FA they deliberate violent conduct retaliation is more tolerable than something that may have been accidental.

It matters to Man Utd because now every headline leads with "Mings banned for 5 games for stamping Zlatan" which their sponsors are very happy about.

Didn't Ben Thatcher get a 7 match ban or something for his elbow on Mendes? Though accepted that was closer to assault than any other elbow I've seen on a football pitch.

It matters because Man Utd, and every kid in the country, has been told by the FA they deliberate violent conduct retaliation is more tolerable than something that may have well been accidental.

If was intentional he did well to land on his head while looking the opposite direction and being pushed by Rooney

On the other hand there is zero reasonable doubt over the elbow being intentional, so the FA making an example in this case is insane
