Could outline what John Pemberton responsibilities were? His influence on tactics and team selection in his role would be minimal, as would be his influence in recent recruitment.
I was hoping to listen to the game at lunchtime but for some reason I can't access my account on Bristol City's site. The sounds from Ashton gate will be interesting tonight and I was hoping to be part of it for once, however it looks like it's not to be. With today's digital tech surely I must be able to access the game somewhere on the net - any ideas anyone? I have been a great believer that SL will not dump Lee and if JM has been hired as his assistant at least he has been there, done that, but is that really the answer or just another cover in the cracks? Even talk of KM scares me, even though I respect him, because if we needed another example of taking the wrong (previously known as cheap) direction to achieve SL's supposed agenda. If you thought it couldn't get any scarier then stay tuned - unlike me here in the backwaters of the colonies. Have a great day all.
My BCFC World membership has expired and perhaps that says it all because I will not renew as I have lost my mojo for the club. I am also totally befuddled by the happenings down at Ashton Gate when you don't know who to believe anymore which coupled with the fake news going on makes it worse. The same old stuff year in and year out and the merry-go-round ride continues.
Has Yeovil Town legend Lee Johnson's Bristol City assistant quit just before key Norwich City clash? By StephenDAlbiac | Posted: March 07, 2017 please log in to view this image Has John Pemberton left Bristol City? Alarm and panic has spread among the Bristol City fan base this afternoon after the club's assistant head coach sent a tweet that strongly hinted that he was on his way out of Ashton Gate. The tweet was sent by John Pemberton at 9.20am this morning and thanked the club for their support while wishing them all the best. Pemberton quickly deleted the tweet and his position at the club is now unknown, although it is understood that he has held talks with senior figures at Bristol City at the club's training ground throughout the course of the day. City have won just two of their last 22 league matches as they have slipped to 22nd in the Sky Bet Championship, a run that has left their manager Lee Johnson under serious pressure heading into tonight's match at home to Norwich City. DH = a minus zero rating for the team since he appeared, it all went rapidly down hill a game or so after his arrival

cant help but wonder on whos decision that was, if it were jnrs, then go for gods sake and go tonight.
Let your voices be heard loud and clear because I will now be listening in because for some insane reason I renewed my subscription to BCFC player and it will be more interesting to listen to your response and to hell with the score. No,I want City to win for all the right reasons and just hope if we do then someone will see the right light.
Sounds like we are clearing the decks for JM to caretake us to the next manager, so it wouldn't be a real surprise if Jonno hits the road after the gig tonight
Sick to the pit of my stomach after today's happenings. Steve Lansdown you should be ashamed of yourself. Its made me question whether I want to carry on supporting the club. I can see why FC United was formed after fans had a guts full.
Very strong rumours around the boxes tonight that Pemberton grabbed Johnson round the throat after having a guts full of him. Seems quite likely to me.
I have had the same thought on JM brightred because the mystery continues. I would always put JM ahead of Lee as a player but will he get the chance to shine in anew career?
I don't blame Pemberton, I am sure others were in the queue. I don't even blame Johnson anymore, Lansdown is to blame for all of this s--t!
I wonder if the recent comments by JP about LJ not being able to handle the workload were unauthorised and hes' now paid the price for that?
