But, if we can nab him on a Loan to buy deal then I wouldn't say no, he "was" a quality player, played his best under Klopp and maybe he knows what to say and do to get this boy playing at that level again.
A Loan to Buy deal (with a fee agreed before loan at a reasonable level) really is Win Win, if he comes and doesn't do well, we ship him back, if he does well, then we get a world class player on the cheap..

Ah right, where as you gave Klopp a massive new contract on £3.50/week, bought mane and pay him £50/week, Migs new contract amounted to a packet of dry roasted peanuts after every game etc etc

 

Think the payoff for Rodgers and his staff was included, remember you had just given him a long contract on the strength of 1 season, it all adds up. You also had a shed load of players who were just surplus that Klopp has now got rid of, may have been on comparatively low wages but enough of them make a difference.
