Moyes sees tired players on the pitch, looks at the bench and sees fresh players. If only there was something he could do...just can't quite figure it out.
I thought we did about as well as you could hope. When you play top sides, in our position, you've got to pray that they have an off day and you get some luck and neither happened so a loss was inevitable. We actually looked pretty good considering the quality of the opposition, in defence anyway.
Decent first half, competed and played some decent stuff. Second half, barely turned up, training session for City. Where do we go from here?
Walk out at 75mins. Moyes is a joke. Any person sticks up for him should get shout. There is nothing in him and bringing on khazri with 9mins left ffs man.
I though we looked ok until 2-0. Then it turned into a training session for city. Not too disappointed all in all. Result aside I thought they gave their all
City scored their first shot. At that point we'd had one off the post and 3 very good chances which just didn't go out way. Or did you only watch half of the game?
There were some good signs in the first half - tackling, closing down and we had the better chances to score. Larsson, Januzaj and Jones all played well. If Borini had scored it could have been a bit different. We do need Anichebe back as soon as possible.
