Was told that we do not have to pay compensation if he is sacked in the relegation places. As I have said could explain why SL has been waiting to get rid of him.
Yeah because contracts are always public knowledge Strange really that only my wife and HR department know what's in my contract. Would you tell your co workers or be happy if your contract details be public knowledge?
Very poor today. Positives-Keeper made a couple of good saves and kept a clean sheet. Wright was solid, but full back was not what we bought him as.-Cotterell, another good game. Concerns- Bryan, crossing was terrible, shot of all confidence. Smith, people talking him up on the way out of the ground, but for me, dwells far too long on the ball and not good going forward.-Reid, totally lightweight today, pushed easily off the ball. Overall, we lacked imagination, look vulnerable defensively and overall, the performance was very pedestrian and frustrating. Spoke to a friend of mine who is coming with us on Tuesday, he is from Norwich and is worried after a 5-1 reverse today. Quite honestly I dont think he has much to worry about. For me, there is only one answer, cant see it happening though
'Cotterell, another good game' - Disagree. Great delivery (usually) from a dead ball but come on, he wouldn't go by my mother. Worryingly on numerous occasions yesterday, his first thought was to pass it back where it came from.
we missed out on a couple .. cant recall their names, but checked them out when they came up as "linked with" and they did look good .. we already have one, he's at Wrexham!
Your sources have been proven wrong more often than right, so please stop acting like you're well informed. I wouldn't be surprised if at least some of the players do have a problem with him, but I'm sceptical that it would extend as far as intentionally playing badly, or miss a penalty on purpose. Being part of a relegated side isn't exactly a badge of honour, as well as the strong liklihood of a reduction in wages.
Well yes, but that's a stipulation of his contract which is beneficial to the player, so more likely to be leaked. Any 'public knowledge' regarding wages or bonuses is going to be pure educated guesswork.
