If we go down which is looking very likely, I cannot see SL coping with the torrent of criticism that will be heading in his direction. Will this be the point where the club is put on the market?
Absolutely not. Who on earth would buy us with the losses we're making? He's on the verge of building further facilities outside Ashton Gate, and has just pumped another £10m+ in on transfers alone. Why would it make any sense for him to sell and let someone else reap the potential benefits of all of his investment?
Agree with above plus 1 good replacement for LJ and a couple of victories leading us towards survival and all feeble minded fans like me will be singing from the same Bristol City hymn book our thanks for our Mr Lansdown.
If he had any sense Johnson would be out the door. Football clubs are money pits very rarely do they give a return. City in all probability is just a tax right off for SL.
To be truthful I can't see who would buy it as it's now not just us he owns. We've moved into another playing field with us only being a part in Bristol Sport.
thankful that he chose us to write off his tax on then Fact is, Lansdown has said he want Premiership football here at AG There has to be a little reality in the smoke screen somewhere
And he continues to stand by the most ineffective manager ever at Ashton Gate? That's a little contradictory Steve.......
