I believe the answer is yes for 2 reasons, 1 - If Johnson get's 2 wins out of 3 he deserves the right to fight on, 2 - It gives Lansdown the criteria to stubbornly hang on to his protege by his fingernails.. Both madness the guy has failed and should be gone.
But did other good managers not fail before succeeding? If he keeps us up what's to say he hasn't learnt from this, push us onto another level? I'm in the LJ out camp and have been for months and months but chose not to get into arguments as I believe Onefor and others in the LJ camp have spoken some sensible comments. He might of failed but he is still manager of my club so today he gets my support.
If (and a big if) he wins two out of the next three he will no doubt keep his job, if he losses todays game he's gone, or is he ?
The ghost of Sir Alex Fergusson hangs in the air, does it not he was one goal away from the sack, but thankfully for Manchester United that goal was scored by…..yes, you guessed it Robins !
