Quite disturbing how he seems so desperate for him to fail....he has been slagging Monk for a few weeks now. I've said all along since he was on JA, LL always has to have somebody to point the finger at as long as it isn't Cellino....he has done this for years. Monk is just his next target. Sad and pathetic. Other than that, Taylor is our best LB but if he wants to leave then he shouldn't be playing, which is a shame. Luckily we have very good cover in Berardi. If we get promoted we need a new keeper but Rob Green is a very capable no.2 at that level.
Monk to Rangers is laughable, maybe Rowett but not Monk ... as for the new Clives constantly trying to find fault with Monk, you are either very poor WUMs (nowhere near the class of Glory) or you are just plain ignorant ... the run in will be very tough, but our team is 4th for a reason, and we will make the playoffs ... all we want is a crack at promotion, and Monk has got us in a position where this is possible ... at the start of the season we would have jumped at finishing 9th and called it progress Mick McCarthy says Monk is his Manager of the Season, and even Colin agrees ... as a Leeds fan who has enjoyed this season more than any other in the last decade, I am inclined to agree Sweden kit looks great ... Taylor will go for a fee ... everything else regarding players will depend on which division we are in next season ... we do know that if we go up that Pedrazza signs for £8m and Bartley will probably sign as well ... if we stay in the Championship then all our players will come under threat from Prem riches as for Cook, he was NEVER going to start in the Bournemouth team this season, nothing to do with Wilshere signing ... Howe made it crystal clear that Cook was an investment for the future, and he would be taught the Bournemouth way before stepping up Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Cook was in the starting starting lineup for AFC Bournemouth when they lost 1–3 at home to Manchester United in their first Premier League game of the 2016–2017 season. Cook made two further appearances in the League Cup before being sidelined until 2017 by a persistent ankle problem
Pity we don't have video posts here. If we did, I'd be able to see if your tongue was firmly in your cheek, or a candidate for Care in the Community (yet another heartless gift from Thatcher).
Holiday brill, as you'd expect. Sydney puzzles me, though. At times it's a case of 'spot the white man'. A very large part of the population / visitors seems to be Asian, which surprised me. Not a racist criticism, just an unexpected observation.
I honestly don't think Diagouraga had a lot to improve on. At times last season, he made Bridcutt seem ordinary. However, I don't believe he'll ever be back. Monk prefers the pressing game, but Dave doesn't, so it's a no-go for his return. Doesn't mean he's a bad player. Can you imagine Bobby Moore playing a pressing game? No chance, but doesn't mean he wasn't a world class player.
Doc, so sorry that it's come to this. Hopefully you'll not iew the operation as a worrying escalation, but a huge ray of hope in your fight. We're all rooting for you. All the best.
I think that LL is perfectly entitled to present his observation, and there is strong evidence to support his assertion. It's been said often on here by a very regular poster that Monk has no plan B. And he's right. As is LL. I've said it myself too. Please, by all means educate us & tell us what we've all missed. Dying to hear. And why us it you only criticise LL for saying it, and not us others? Monk is actually quite inexperienced & got a lucky start in management. That inexperience has caused us problems at various times throughout the season. No plan B, poor substitutions, poor timing, poor tactic, embarrassingly inappropriate behaviour - á la Wagner (which I loved, I admit), etc. Btw, for the record - I'm all for Monk to stay with us. Best prospect we've had for a number of years. BUT .... not the finished article. Yet.
and why does your defending the minority view only stretch to defending those you happen to agree with. Would think you a much bigger man if you were less hectoring and more even handed in your support of free speech and defending the minority view.
You were the other person complaining about no plan B. Remember those dark days before you joined the happy clappies? And I believe I criticised Monk's lack of plan B before either of you. And sadly, still feel it's the case. I'm not the one hectoring. I think you'll find that Paul Hopkins is an exemplary example. Why don't you criticise him?
No I am saying you would to well to spot any indigenous Australians in the torist spots of Sydney and the aisians are a damn sight near home than the white incomers. You suggesting I am incorrect?
cos its way more fun to criticize you knowing you cant ever let go of a hook! Besides that Paul is 100% correct. As for you not hectoring you are having a laugh right?
