.....if he scores a hat-trick against the mackems and then celebrates in front of the unwashed in the away end or are you hoping that one of our mackems friends knocks his big girly head off with a half eaten pie? Its a tough one.....

Also I know we shouldn't really care as he left us in the **** a bit but he's still a Geordie(ish) and it'll be interesting to see how he progresses. What are you expecting from him this season? I reckon he'll get a few goals and have a few matches where he looks unplayable but the flaws in his game that we all know exist will be exposed now he's playing for one of the supposed bigger clubs. I can see him falling out of favour and getting shipped out if the bin dippers progress in the way the media/their fans/Dogleash would have us believe they will.

I'm still not sure I understand the hatred for Carroll, I know we were all pissed off at how it all happened but I still blame the club for it....and everything else really!

He's bound to score well against NUFC - all ex toon players usually do according to Sod's Law

I hope he scores 3 and then has a major clash of heads with Jose, ruling them out for 7 years as they will be in a coma.

Wish him well and don't blame him for his departure. Just the way the club is at the moment, we can't hold onto players of that ilk. Of course I hope he smashes a hatty against the mackems! Hate that we lost him but don't hate him. I think he'll have a cracking season and will do well in a very good Liverpool side. If they get a top centre back they'll be bang there I'd imagine. Mind Carroll is injury prone, and Suarez a nutter, so they may lack strength in depth up front. End of the day when he's on song, Carroll is unplayable.

I don't think Carroll will do as well this season if Liverpool continue to play him like Heskey

He's a horrible bastard I'd rather Henderson scored against them, that'll be funnier.

Henderson setting up all 3 Carroll goals against them, then?

    That would be better imo!

Stuff him. He was in-contract, he didn't have to go; however you look at it.

Wouldn't of even cared but he was banging on about the number 9 and emulating Shearer etc. Scum. All he wants to do is play for us as number 9. lies.

I don't hate him, I pitty him. Could of been a hero among his own, a legend in his own life-time. He is unlikely to be more than another striker at Liverpool. Remembered, sure, but not to the same extent.

Liverpool are a great club for that, but tbh there's been and will be better. The fact that he's a Geordie and half-decent would have done him proud for us.

    end rant

(wow, didn't know that was still burning in there... had almost forgotten)
