Not read anything yet because I'm gutted and there's bound to be loads of pages.

All I'm saying is what a ****ing sickener

 

What a superb performance by Saints, to come back from two nil down, with a perfectly good goal disallowed, hit the post, have one cleared off the line, only to concede late on to one of the best strikers in the world, was only a fraction shy of heroic.

 

Did 76 & so so wanted today for you guys, my family & friends. So so disappointed. Don't have the words & ****e getting out of Green Man pub doesn't help. Someone please reassure me this is all worth it☹️

 

Thought you were more than a little unlucky today and you gave an excellent account of yourselves - Ibra is without doubt a world class player - with that squad you will other days in the sun.

Semi glad I was in the air and missed more or less the whole thing.

 

I'm proud of all of that. Had tears in my eyes at how loud the Saints fans sang.

However I have been back in the rut hating the Prem for a while now ( I think most have noticed) and today put the picture out there for anyone. You can sit back for the whole game because you've bought the gamewinners and for 90% of the games that will win you the game. Same as when I last gave up in the mid nineties. Money means more than passion and that is what kills me.

 

Enormously proud of the team, the staff and the fans.

Too emotionally exhausted after that to say any more just yet, though I have a lot to say about their fans (who we were right next to) and an absolute disgrace of a steward.

But that would take away from a magnificent, all effort, all action performance by that wonderful team of Saints. We've got a real striker now too.

Proud of the fans and the Saints team. An unfortunate decision perhaps had it gone our way who knows.......

 

Just came in , read some reports and the result. I understand that a perfectly good goal was chalked off for Gabby and that he should have had a hat-trick. Is that right.? I also get the impression that Saints were the better team but gave the odd poor goal away.

If you lose 3-2 and equalise for 2-2 I think there's plenty to be proud of. Looks like we've found the goalscorer we've been missing too.

 

After the equaliser, they were rocking but alas, not to be. Proud of the team. I believe today was part of the journey. We will be back at Wembley. We will win these type of matches. Keep the faith.

 

Now that's get to 40 points and then look forward to the craziness with the takeover.

 

I have never gone and looked to watch highlights or a full 90 mins of Saints losing a match. But I'll probably make an exception here. I've got to know why reports are saying we were the better team, and I've got to see that disallowed goal.

 

Have to say that I thought the United fans were superb. Outsung us and created a very good atmosphere.

lol I can't say that with a straight face. What an embarrassment of a following for the biggest club in england. Silent all game. Bunch of glory supporting ****s.

 

Immensely proud of saints though. Had a fantastic day even though we were robbed. United for all their money don't buy the kind of pride I felt for my team out there.

I haven't read the thread yet but I think the team did us proud today. It's always a worry that they might have been overwhelmed by the occasion and playing Man Utd but I shouldn't have worried. Brilliant effort and but for an offside goal that wasn't, a goal post that moved and some Swedish bloke we would have won. Disappointed but very proud.
