Better team throughout and deservedly back level. Great swivel finish from Gabbiadini. Held Smalling off brilliant and finish was a peach. It's fair to say 98% of football fans are on the saints side today!
There was word around in my neck of the woods for him wherever it came from I do not know, but THEY KNEW. I didn't listen but gladly cheered him home.
Terrible news for Geraghty. 6 broken ribs and collapsed lung.....ouch. Had some really nice rides lined up at the festival in the green and gold.
Gazza Moore reports the owner wants the stayers hurdle for Camping Ground in March. He is dubious and thinks Camping Ground won't stay 3mile well enough and that 20 furlongs is his optimum trip.
Super stuff again Stick - there was a lad on an Irish radio station (Nova) on Friday giving this as a tip (wasn't even a sports show) so I'm sure he's happy it came in now after proclaiming it to all the listeners. Anyway after remembering that and then you tipping it I said I'd have to join in so stuck it in a double with Larry
I watched the match with my son who is an ardent Man U fan. I think he thought it was their lucky day. Southampton's first goal should never have been disallowed. They didn't deserve to be 2-0 down but not only did they hit back with 2 fine goals, they were on top for most of the second half, hit the post and had some near misses; they looked like the only team who could win it. My son had resigned himself to losing and was a very relieved lad (well hardly a lad now) when the big man nodded in the winner. Gutted for you lamby
