Surprisingly, he can play in that position. A bit like that Skacel chappie who we nearly signed once.
Of course, and the perennial gag on the subject of us signing him. It was a bit silly to put a table out on the pitch I suppose. I saw him play at LB several times for us. He was actually very good indeed, but totally wasted in that position. I saw him extract the ball very neatly from a hard running and tricky Leeds winger, at St Marys, in our penalty area. Using his skills, he then proceeded to shield the ball away from said Leeds forward until the man gave up and Skacel then progressed up field to where he passed the ball. The receiver of which then gave the ball away to the opposition. That seemed to be par for the course, back then. An attacking midfielder is what he was best at; played well for Hearts in that position, and does so once again, I understand.
