All the nice stuff looks buried under crap someone threw on last min.

    3rd at best ;)

All we need now is to see Neweys effort before calling this title :(

I remember when Ferrari's were lookers. Can't say that the car looks fast but I guess time will tell. Just looks clunky for now.

I'm not sure what's worse, the force India nose or the Ferrari's sidepods. That shark fin is a challenger for force Indias ugly crown as well.

Not the most beautiful Ferrari that I have ever seen.

    However, will it be fast?

From a quick glance 2016 Front, 2010-2011 shark fin. Only new bits are the rear wing and the sidepod detail. But obviously thats not the case. Lets see if it does the job.

I thought Newey was less involved in the design these days?

he's technical director so his staff innit his philosophy driven through the organisation... plus like seeking luck skywalker for rey he is our only hope against the dark side that is a dull and predictbale championship :)

yes he might just prove to be an old geezer sitting on a rock but he is still mythical

I think this year some of the cars are judged on livery. The ferrari has the same old livery for the past 7 or so years. if they replaced the white with more black and a darker shade of red it would look more aggressive. The force India paint scheme looks horrible and has no identity.

Interesting though that mercedes and Ferrari have both found the whale tail loop hole. must be some espionage going on ;)

I suspect most teams are aware of it. The first thing they'll have done when they got the new regulations is model all of the aero "no-go" zones, which will quickly highlight the gap Mercedes and Ferrari have spotted. The fact that it's the same height and width as the old rear wings probably means it's a hangover from the previous regs, as has been points out by Scarbs, etc.

I think where the teams might differ is how they use that "whale tail". From a quick glance, Ferrari appear to be using it as a mid-wing to generate more downforce, whilst the shape of the Mercedes one looks more like it actually generates lift, but also conditions airflow to the rear wing for a net benefit.

Looks nothing like a Manor with the lights on.

Looks compact and aggressive. All will be revealed next week onwards

The looks orange looks less red in these pictures. I agree though, white would have been nicer than the black bits. 1dc1f8d379ca3dd5929617f834e15990.jpg f7a46ccf34ed8f68ba8ed2901e866e9b.jpg
