Personally wouldn't want wing backs, also defo do not want Jonas in a defensive line up (except for tracking back)

Wasnt that bad, just looked unfamiliar.

What about Williamson? Just tell him to sit back and not go forward all game, pretty much. No pace but good on the slide tackle if they ran past him.

Dont think I'd be happy with a 352 considering we arent used to it and we're playing one of the big boys.

A 3 man defence is the way forward with Fifa though. <ok>

    He really was <laugh>

I was hoping he'd do alright, but it got a bit embarrassing for him really. He was fine whenever they had possession and ran the line well, but every time he was 1-on-1 I was cringing. I thought it was a bit harsh that whenever he played they actually singled him out for being **** in the post match analyses though

I've gone for Kadar. Hope he's fit but I think Pardew will just go for Raylor.

I voted Jonas but would play Ferguson left wing and try some sort of switching tactics between Jonas and Fergie. Together they should be able to cover that position until we get Pieters in!

Would sub Fergie if he was struggling with fitness and throw Marveuax on and play the same tactic!

Simpson wouldn't work as a wing back - not good enough going forward.

If fit enough, I'd choose Fergie, it's not like we'll be facing any long balls. But I really hope we have a replacement by then. Gervinho has been **** hot and is scaring me.

Play 3412 with Wolfsburg on career mode. Get the extra man in attack but you dont notice you have 1 less person in defence.

Once you try it you wont go back <diva>

I went for Jonas, simply because he's used to that side and is a first team regular, that will work hard wherever he's played. Although not great defensively, he has played there and will have Colo to help him out.

The other reason(s) is that Ferguson has just come back into training and hasn't played much first team football (ie: a full 90 minutes), which would make it highly unlikely that Pardew would want to throw him straight in against Arsenal, in the first PL game of the season. Which brings me to Kadar. Similar situation, recently back from injury and played little or no part in the first teams pre-season programme, which would also make it highly unlikely he'll be brought in for the Arsenal game.

I believe Raylor is injured?! According to http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php he's out with a groin injury, with no return date set.

I chose Jonas as I think he 'could do a job' there, if we were to play a back four.

Of course, Pardew will most likely play perch... :-(

To be fair it was RB and he was dropped after the first game!

I voted Fergie, but Jonas wouldn't unease me that much.

I want our new left back in if he signs in time.

He might not have any time to gel with the squad, but all he needs to do for this match is to stop players getting through and get the ball away from our goal area. The understanding and link-up play with the rest of the squad can come in time.
