I don't know whether I've shared this before but when I was working in my company's bathroom showroom we sold Greg and his Missus quite a lot of gear to refurbish their house. Anyway this involved Greg calling in to see us on several occasions, one afternoon he sat at my desk and I just couldn't resist asking him what it was like to play at Wembley in an FA Cup final. Now don't forget when Greg won the Cup with Coventry it meant a great deal more than it does today, anyway I thought to myself he's either going to mutter a couple of sentences and change the subject or he'll be happy to talk. What happened next was surreal, I couldn't shut him up ! He proceeded to tell me about the whole day before going off on a tangent telling me about his whole career at City and Coventry, about the managers he played for, the best without question being John Bond and also how one manager did virtually bugger all and left everything to his coach (I won't name them for obvious reasons but it came as a real surprise to me) . Anyway after about two hours he finally got up and left and I had to play catch up with my work for the rest of the day, top bloke
Bloody hell Whittaker makes the cut No Pinto, no Olive, Pritchard dropped after a brace WTF is Neil playing at ??
Come on, you've got to say. You cant lure me across here with a thread like this, tell me a story like that and then NOT REVEAL ALL!!!!!! What is this, torture? You cant do this to me. You cannot be serious. Please, I'm begging, Well, at least, say which club.
tbf AN did say there were some doubts for the match, maybe Pritchard is not 100% so will be used as an impact sub! <ok?
Rubbish he's not injured Dave and well you know it, I'm just surprised that the pillock didn't drop Howson to the bench
I take it that this is good news for us, theToon. If Whittaker is your right back it shouldnt be too bad news as we don't have an out and out left winger as opposed to 2 left wingers who like playing right wing, Ritchie and Atsu
Why not shift R Martin to RB and bring in Bennett at CB? Martin has been good in the CB role alongside Klose lately but needs must - and if needs must involve Whittaker, we're scraping our defensive barrel somewhat <prayforWhitts>
AN school of management, if you win 5 - 1 make major changes. OH yeah & keep playing Hoolahan until he fails, even though it clear to everyone he can't play every game. At least AN is consistent, he keeps making the same errors.
