Just wondering what people drink and what they pay for a pint at their local?

My old man has been over for about 6 weeks and can't go into a pub without near enough ****ting himself at the $10-14 (£6-9) we pay for a pint of Carlton Draught/Brooklyn lager.

£6.10 for a pint of Punk in the bar I go to before the match, in Altrincham.

£4.40 for Guinness in my other regular pub.

Only drink lagers, Fosters is 2.80 and Stella 3.10.
My mate drinks cider on draught and is about 3.10 as well.
Its a club we go to which is non profit making so it keeps the prices down.
Golf club is close to 4.00 for lager and over 4.00 for the cider.
Only other time i drink is when we go out to restaurant for food and they are quite often way over 4.50 for a pint.

Old local in Washington got to £4.10 for a Heineken last year and I believe it's went up again. Usually drink in Newcastle City Centre now and can easily spend £5 for a pint, scandalous!

3.60 Stella in our spit and sawdust.

6.90 for a Tom Collins or 5.20 for a pint of Peroni in our cocktail bar.

    That's London prices man!

I paid 11 Euros for a pint in Paris at Christmas. Just the once mind!

Dirty robbing cheese eating surrender monkeys!

Yep. Still bitter about it! <laugh>

Hand pulled draught real ale at £2.56 a pint where I drink.
Always two on & they change all the time.
    Was drinking Pale Rider yesterday.
White Rat is the next one in.
Prefer the paler beers to the darker ones.
    Not bad at 5.6%.

£4.60 for a pint of Veltins and £5.10 for a pint of Peroni. Robbing cuts. Rather go to Asda and spend £5 on 4 cans of Brewdog/Dead pony or £12 for 12 bottles of Hop House.

    Hop House is lovely.

Not a fan of Dead Pony, funny aftertaste, prefer Punk.

This thread's making me want to go and sit outside with a beer now, we have a rare sunny day here in Mcr today as well.

I will drink the real ale that is on offer where I can get it..If I'm drinking down the town it will very from about £2.50 in the Wetherspoons to around £3.50 most other places. If I drink in the Railway Club or The Victory before the matches I usually drink bottles of Double Maxim for about £2.80.

£2.80 at the british legion. Sometimes you can taste the detergent, but they have footy on in the background, so who's going to complain?

Drink Boddies in the Chesters, £2.80 a pint I think. Thats before the footy. If I'm in there with my wench I drink Double, £3.10 a bottle. In the Worm either Double or a real ale which varies from about £1.75 - £3.50.

You seem to go away a lot Vince.

Might be easier just to let us all know when you're home :emoticon-0136-giggl

As I wrote that I was thinking I bet he's been told that many times on here already.
