Does this mean the hitman is the new godfather already or that he'll become the godfather if they successfully recruit?

Seriously, I don't think it tells us anything yet. Could have been inactive, or active players holding back.

@ InBiscanWeTrust would you include any failed assassination attempts by rookie in your report?

It says they can recruit if a team member dies. Unless they did a "recruit X just in case" type thing (which would be **** if accepted), they wouldn't have recruited already.
