The entire team were shocking mate. Not sure what directive he has but Jones bombing forward leaves Kone wide open, also Jones's lack of pace and inability to get back exposes the defence even more. Kone was constantly getting pulled wide into the hole left by Jones and basically just caught in no mans land. Shocking display by all the back 4 tbh.
So, the question every neutral is asking now is...how **** must Palace be to get stuffed 4-0 at home by you lot? Also, how the **** did we (Saints) lose 3-0 at Selhurst? Cheer up lads, anything can happen. Just ask Leicester.
Make it a good one. A major rant with loads of **** twats etc thrown in. Also the manditory leaving video. And tits and vadge. Dont forget. Just to make sure.
I am not saying you are wrong, but who else is there? we can't sign anyone and half the team are injured. I agree with everything you say we need, but who do we look to?
Even though I knew the score I cracked and watched the game four hours after it happened and at times it was horror viewing, but everything that came off for us against Palace just did not in this game. That's football is all I can live with.
You're damn right mate and i don't have the answers, the issue for me is inconsistency. Last week we were brilliant, this week ****e. Catts and Kirchoff would make a big difference for sure but when are they due back?
Don't think it was a case of 'nothing coming off', I think the players completely bottled it. Soon as the first goal went in they hid. That's what happens when you've got no real leaders on the pitch to take some responsibility, and not one of them did. It was men against boys.
Disagree. We tried one-twos that were just cut out, longer balls that were easily cleared, if anything we were lethargic in midfield and failed to cope with their counter down the sides.
I think I've worded my previous post poorly. I actually agree that nothing came off, but the reasoning behind it I disagree. You seem to be attributing it majorly down to luck, I'm putting it down to the players bottling it after going 1-0 down. We started brightly in the first 15-20 mins, but then as soon and they scored our arsed dropped IMO. Southampton were in some terrible form and on paper were there for the taking, we bottled it.
Men against boys is the phrase I used driving home after the match, they were better in every way it's possible to be better. We couldn't even pass it because their defence got their foot in before our player every single time.
Aye agree completely. Romeu bossed our central midfield 2/3 on his own. Never really rated him that much till Saturday. That let Davis and Ward Prowse run the show easily.
I mean we knew before the match they were a better side but watching them compete really brought it home. Compare Bertrand to Jones and that says it all.
