I personally think Pulis would sort him out and get the full potential out of an incredible footballer. Newcastle didn't win a single game with out him last season. And he was up there with the best for the assists takers.

 

But can he play CB?

He is an excellent player and one that fits the "Battersy Dogs Home" criteria that TP is so proud of! However, I have read that we may be looking to smash our wage structure to accommodate him - 60K a week? Not sure if he is the right player to "upset the apple cart" over the wage structure, but we could play with one less man on the park if he replaced our current midfield!

Well we will have to wait and see, but I would like to hear the justification from the welsh wonder why "this football club" broke the wage cap for a charchter like this - regardless of his ability!
